Ah! shopping... long time since i've done that... well, mostly because i am so lazy i almost do it from my computer... lol but honestly, there isn't anything the net can do to replace the novelty of going out there, taking a look at what you're going to get from arm's length , then strolling around and spotting interesting things people sell.. like photo coasters..

quite ingenious actually, frost a piece of glass except a square window in the centre, then put on some rubber legs, and use a combination of card(or plastic) and visible thick double sided tape as the photo holder -.- I was damn tempted to get it.. but really, the yellowing spongy double sided tape put me off totally. you expect people to pay 12.90 for 6 of those!? for that shit craftsmanship? pls, go to hell.

I popped over to ALLBAGS @ harbourfront centre today to get a shoe bag from jack's . cost me 14 bucks! i bought the biggest 1 they stocked there. haha blame it on the genes.. but no choice. lol but i was kinda disappointed by the number of designs, as well as the designs themselves. I've seen better at other shops, but well, not for a hefty discount :) HEHE

popped over to sim lim square to get a new silicon casing for my "new" sansa e-250. Anyway it cost me 15 bucks!(more than my shoe bag -.-) but i got it coz it was fitting and felt nice. I actually got this from a friend who used it right up to the time he sold it to me. haha but honestly , he really wasted 90+ dollars. HE Got it in march this year? then now he wants a psp slim.. so he sold off some of his prized comics, gundam figurines, old computer and this mp3 player.. gosh.. if i were him, i would have saved the 180 at march, sold the old computer for 140, then used the money to get that psp slim with lifetime warranty covering labour and use the extra 10 to buy a screen protector. then i'd still have the comics+toys! but well, somehow people don't listen to the advice i dispense.

Which is really fine by me :) i got a 6 month old 2GB mp3 player for 92 bucks! muahahaha oh yeah, and since he was using it all the way till he sold it to me, i have all the 345 songs he loaded in the player :) . but really, you can tell alot from a person's music selection. Some were not bad, and overall its a real departure from the pop-rock-soul-ballad-R&B mix i listen to. This person had ALOT of jap songs,but almost ALL were from anime OSTs like Dgrayman, gundam seed etc.. then the weird thing that freaked me out was that he had loaded the background music for starcraft , all 9 kinds, 3 for each "race". I played ALOt of starcraft b4, and honestly, i got sick of it(the music) years ago haha. There was even warcraft3 music and some classical selections like beethoven and chopin. But if you look at the music, without looking at the person, it shows that : 1. he's too much into gaming, 2. he's really into anime, and 3. he's more classical-buff than pop buff. Which makes for a very interesting character devoid of the popular influences from radio today. Could explain why he's realy nerdy and all :P

but honestly , i got sick of listening to shit i didn't understand, though it did sound quite good sometimes and makes you concentrate on the other aspects of the song other than lyrics like rhythm and beat.

you know, i really amaze myself at the shit i can pick up from just 1 day out with a used sansa. gosh.

oh yes, anyone know of anywhere with nice wallets or pencil cases(at least 21 cm long to accomodate my $2 20cm steel rule.. shit, i regret getting that from daiso!) I almost don't wanna head to muji , but if its the only place that has something clean and simple, then so be it.
