well, it was really nice to be able to spend my birthday at the airport. but its so sad to be sending my cousin off on my birthday! very contradicting feelings of elation and sadness.
but my aunts bought me a cake from begawan solo and had some pictures taken there.. haha all with my uncle who brought the cameras. my dad and mom are hopeless. both have 2 mp cameraphones but you might as well throw them away.
i think i only got 5 gifts this year. well, as opposed to getting none at all most years, haha so thats good. 1st was my 7th aunt's gift of 2 pints of BEN & JERRY'S! whoo hoo!! new york super fudge chunk and Dave Matthews band's MAGIC BROWNIES LOVELY! :) i personally prefer the latter, but both are excellent in their own way.
my 5th aunt and dad gave me ang pows.. i was really pleasantly surprised to see a free 10 dollar voucher enclosed in a happy birthday card from the restraunt pasta fresca! i didn't think my free application would even get their attention! haha
but jh+jack+chris got me my 1st Mr potato head ! :D haha transformers edition! OPTIMASH PRIME! haha sibeh cute haha. i don't dare open it ! later turn out to be a collectible :P haha the box itself is a joke. damn farny. "potatoes in disguise" is emblazoned on the front while other funnies are scattered all around like "more than meets the Fry" haha. and the guys emphasised: "for ages 2+ ok! no longer teenager ok! teenager 1+!" hahaha :)

we headed for bugis area to have dinner coz i thought i wanted to try something like steamboat or some arab style kebabs.. we ended up @ a nice little shophouse in the alley beside "icons" opposite bugis junction. oh man, the bill astounded me haha. 107 for 4 peeps! omg. lol and jh didn't eat anything much! just 1 very disappointing plate of garlic mussels. jack chose the most value for money dishes haha his lamb "cutlet"(cutlet is normally fried...he got a ... chop.. lol) cost only 15 bucks and the brownie he ordered well, saved the day. lol chris and i shared a glutton's platter. haha 40 bucks! :o but full of eveyr kind of meat for 2. not bad lah. we wiped the plate clean haha so clean the manager was like "wow this is the 1st time i've seen someone clean the plate." haha oh yeah, a passion fruit shake , a chocolate frappé and a totally disappointing mocha frappé also added to the cost.
after that, we proceeded to marina square on foot to do some bowling :) haha it was so much fun haha each of us racked up about 14 bucks worth of games. lol luckily we had safra membership to lower the cost of 1 game to 3.80! omg.. no discount is 4.1 PER GAME. omg omg..
but it was fun :)
i bought my pen refills and file inserts today.total was 4.10... going to vivo to get my shoe bag from jack's store this sunday :)
