ok i ord in exactly 2 months 30 days hahhaahah MUAHHAHAA
actually i was chased off my computer by my officer coz he wanted to do something, so we swapped accounts, i failed to find his games, but i searched around on the network and found a SCANNED COPY of Who moved my cheese? ! man, thta book costs like, 50 bucks? or maybe 30.. haha i don't buy books :P but there were 47 pages of it, just sitting there, intro, story and discussion. so i took the liberty to read it :) well, took me about 2 hours with all the interruptions of work :P but i managed to finish it, and its actually very inspiring.
so whats CHEESE? lol think of yourself as a mouse. so whats cheese to a mouse beyond sustenance? well, a rodent can nibble and eat anything, but cheese is more often than not portrayed as something beyond just food to a mouse.
so hold that thought and pull it back to the human world. you're a human now, so whats your cheese? get it? well, generally it represents anything that makes you happy. like say a hobby or routine or even food or some music.
so.. lets say you found this huge piece of cheee....
so you've built your world around this big piece of cheese.. live near it, come round for a cheese all you can eat buffet every day.. get fat and claim it all for yourself...so say one day you woke up and found your cheese gone? how?
eg: lets say you love dancing/running. but one day you work up and found that coz you didn't take care of yourself, you now can't even WALK, let alone dance or run. so how? just wallow there and die izzit?
the book really encourages us to think about how we should react to change. its quite fun in the sense that its a story in a story, from beginning to the end.
but best of all is this quote:
"what would you do if you didn't fear?"
we all would fear change . something new, or maybe just doing something old in a new way. but what would you do if you didn't have that FEAR?
and should you only stick to ONE kind of cheese? what about cheddar? mozzarella? or even the mouldy blue cheese? so you have this piece of cheese now, will it last forever? no right? you've gotta go out and get somemore if you wanna continue enjoying it!
for me, computers are a kind of cheese... while computer games are another piece of cheese. So enter salsa, i went out and found another type of cheese to enjoy.. but somehow something's preventing me for fully experiencing this new cheese.. then there's the fear of going overseas, into the great unknown.
but really, what would you do if you had no fear? whats the 1st thing on your mind? ask that girl out? go for that interview to be an actress? challenge shawn and gladys to a dance compy? hahaha hey, open your eyes, look up and beyond! there's more to this world than singapore!!!

2. short ruler: 50c to 1dollar
3. file inserts( the same kind caryn uses, can take out and put in.. plastic rings.. ) :2X 2.10
4. pencil case: 20?
5. Leather wallet: 60?
6. shoe bag: 20?
7. oakly sport watch strap: 22
total : ~130 bucks.
and i just spend 130 on 18th celebrating my b'day with the guys!!! i shall dedicate another post to that :P
