but my weekend started on friday night, so i don't care haha. went for my last salsa lesson on friday night. then proceeded to the only happening salsa club in singapore: union square. was damn crowded, but i still got some action!
it was on the way there that i found out that ALL my classmates were in their mid-twenties! =.= every single girl except those on the dance scholarships. crap. sibeh sian haha
the most memorable sentence was from a certain shufen who asked : " so, are you still a Teenager??" for once in my life admitting my age was like, some sort of crime lol. turns out i was the youngest of the whole class!!!! Went to union square with 6 of my classmates, 3 guys 3 girls.
sibeh sian lah lol and NO CARYN I"M NOT DESPO basket... what the hell gave you that idea?
now i'm contemplating going for the salsa 3 course, coz my intermediate is rather shakey, especially my cuban moves, which i haven't practiced for at least a month. forgot so much already haha. Really does help if i had a friend to dance with more often.
anyway have you all read the sunday papers? there was this interesting science based article about why people fall "truly madly deeply in love" the cheesy title caught my attention, but the actual scientific reasons(or deductions) behind them held my attention. SO whats love? its a freaking DRUG, "no different from the high you feel when reaching for a cigarette" which means, i'm in love!!! with gaming!! HAHAHHAHAHA ok thats lame... but honestly, its sort of the thing i've been reading about around the net anyway. infatuation and facination becomes habit then obsession. which isn't very far from what a certain chris told me before.
and i don't believe you can get addicted to more than one thing at a time. if not coke addicts who dabbled in heroin would probably never ever stop craving for 1 minute coz the moment they got high on one, they would need another lol of course, not like low level addictions like smoking, i'm talking about those crazy life changing addictions like gaming, gambling , love, and alcohol.
but of course, if i ever grow up to be addicted to all those at once, please come up to me and slap me in the face then give me a kiss so i'd get stunned back into reality haha or you can skip the slapping part.
somehow i feel i'm too young for salsa HAHa maybe i should skip over to the hip hop section or something. Or maybe i'll lose interest in it as time passes...
