the end of my 1 week holiday. lol
actually its an MC :P but most of it was spent with my family. owing partly to my relatives from china and hong kong staying till friday and partly due to the fact that every soul i contacted had work or some other thing to attend to. So i didn't see any movie for the whole of this week.
I've been spending far too many nights up against this screen it feels like i can just live in this world. lol
there seems to be alot of crap coming up though. there's the NJC alumni thingy coming up on the 28th of July, which i have shown my intention of going. Honestly, the NJ alumni peeps-in-charge are so dumb, you give out a soft copy RSVP cum donation form, then you ask people to FAX back a reply or surface mail the reply with a cheque. WTF lah. pls, how many alumni who still remember(and would bother to return) NJ actually have a current account and able to issue cheuqes? Its common knowledge that the alumni is expected to contribute some funds, but honestly, to ask people to send you cash without thinking it through reeks of both desperation and hints that we alumni peeps are utter retards.The irony of it all? its coming from our alma mater!! z How you expect us to donate to a place we hardly know and doesn't treat us with respect? The worst thing of all, they're emphasising the construction of a sports hall and dangle the only carrot to bring us back as to "reconnect" with old classmates. There isnt even any itinerary planned thats fun like say an alumni soccer match or a teacher-student dodgeball fight- u know, those crappy spectator sports.. honestly, no one will join in the fun also lah hor... thats how sad I envision NJ :P

k enough of that, all the best to Zee, who has a hairline fracture on her spine(keep the "night exercise" easier on your back lah! LOL ). Get well soon! your choreography on youtube is very nice btw. for someone with a fractured back, that was great ! lol
oh yes, i finally cashed in on that $20 voucher i got from that gaming talk. anyway, i spent it on an 18.90 spiderman3 soundtrack. And i love it :) chock full of indie tracks. mostly rather angsty i think, but very in line with the feelings associated with the movie.Some to recommend :

today i had jap ala carte buffet at HANABI along bukit timah road. all 14 of us inclusive of my grandma were there to celebrate her windfall at the lottery. for once, my grandma was totally awake, totally happy, eating salmon, yellow-tail and Sugisashimi. And under my grandma's orders, we didn't ask one uncle+ his family along- he and his family didn't ever visit grandma all this while while she was unwell. its just sad thinking about it.
feel damn useless at home when all i can do is watch my grandma deteriorate. If only i could do something.
I don't know what is worse, anticipation and the feeling of helplessness in the face of oblivion, or the actual event itself. This would apply to anything anywhere.
