1. Gloria Jean's "coffee" . As usual, i had a mocha ice-blend. whatever they called it, i just had a mocha which they named a "choco loco". it tasted like ice blended chocolate. Nary a hint of coffee. And to top it all off, no whipped cream, and TOO SWEET. i give it a 1/5. not worth the 6.90 for a large cup.
2. Black angus steak bar. one of the few places i've ever been to be able to give me a PROPER MEDIUM RARE. pink , wet centre. perfect. but pricing will bring down the rating, so i split it up.
5/5 for food quality, including the mud pie. 3/5 for value. very very expensive. don't go there if you don't have 60 bucks to spare. overall, 3/5. 10 bucks for a slice of cake is not very friendly a price, no matter how good it is.
sadly i'll be pulling out my wisdom teeth (the right ones) tml at 11.15 am @ alexandra hospital. then it'll be a 1 week MC! woot! but of course, 3-4 days of pain and chewing on one side. but hey! at least i've had my black angus :)
you have GOT to go there at least ONCE in your life. It will set the standard for steak. even surpasses shashlik.
