i honestly don't get it :(

ok why am i blogging at this retarded time. well, my mom's not sleeping either :X and she's like, OUTSIDE MY ROOM PLAYING SPIDER SOLITAIR ON HMY DAD'S COMP . she's been there sinec 11 pm.. well, i've been on my comp since 9, so i can't complain. lol
but the irritating thing is, i can't go to sleep, coz her damn game has some stupid tapping sound everytime she clears a suit of cards. ok thats just an excuse.
Honestly, i know where i get my addictive streak. And i think i know how why my mom stuck to my dad... hmm well,lets just say if i were a girl, i think it won't end in a happy marraige. ok thats so out of point. anyway there seems to be the lack of self control and the high chance of forming a habit out of something repeated many times. for example: clicking on new game after winning/losing a game. or.. if you wanna extrapolate it to real life: going out with someone. It can be good in the sense that the loyalty is there . partly coz it becomes a habit to want to see that someone. but the bad point is , u may not want to do it. but you just do. so I think i have that tendency to lose abit of self control in this aspect. its very worrying... and pretty sad, seeing that i have to look at the predicament my mom's in before i can reflect and pin this shit to myself.
i think there are a few basic categories of people in the world :
gamers , players , muggers and stoners.
gamers are characterised for their love of sport. be it mind or body intensive. tend to be focused and very good in what they do when focused.
players are those who are socially inclined. people who are mostly the center of attention at outings and have lots of friends.
muggers are those inclined to read alot and like to go into detail. very good at facts and figures. may or may not be good in maths. but may lack social skills in some aspects especially when young
stoners refer to a large group of people and encompasses daydreamers, people who can't get themselves moving on a project and people who generally don't really care. Lack of a sense of urgency is marked in this category.
People can have one or more of these traits, but think of it as a box. with all 4 traits on either corner.Muggers and players will be on opposite corners , while gamers and stoners will be on opposite ends to each other. best corporate climber will be the gamer/player/stoner who will generally have a good mix of discipline, social skills and a dream. The gamer who's not the least bit a stoner has no aspirations, the stoner who's no gamer has no drive, discipline and focus. The player who's not a mugger will lack general knowledge,while the mugger who's not a player will lack friends. Best reasearchers would be a good mix of gamer+mugger with an little of stoner .
